Monday 12th July....
Mom and Dad had been away for the weekend, so we met up with them on Monday to wish Dad for his birthday..... I got him a Black Forest Cake and some shortbread (because I hadn't made him some of my own which he would have preferred (and after having tasted those shortbread's - I can understand it!)
Jade had to help Dad unwrapping his present!

Shortbread.... should have been used as bird food..... but, the birds don't deserve that!
(I'll have to make him a batch of nice shortbread to make up for it!)
Blake picked Grandpa's card.... he only cared about it because it had a "BIKE" on it....
He was even more excited when he realised that it made bike noises.....
(the poor card has been worn out in the last week)
Jade decided that standing on Uncle Frank was fun... I have no idea why.... but it kept her happy.....
Blake heard Rob pull up....
(it's his motorbike tuned hearing...)

I think it's a competition to see who can get the closest.....

Jade loves carrying Blake around.. I would have thought that maybe Blake would object.... but he doesn't.... he idolises Jade....
Jade covered Blake and herself in pink and blue chalk .... and he still followed her everywhere she went.... she turned the chalk board around so that no one could see what she was doing.... very secretive!

We just stayed for afternoon tea and then headed home..... it's nice having Rob local - unfortunately it's generally only during the week and he's been working pretty much every weekend since he started, but hopefully that'll settle down soon....
This weekend (24-25th July) Rob will be down in Sydney again to see his Dad....
