Verandah complete.... and BBQ to celebrate....

The verandah was finished yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to go around and take photos.... (plus I hadn't mopped the floor or finished washing the wall - so I didn't really want to take photos anywhoooo)...

Grandpa's chair fits nicely in here.... I'm sure he'd love to see it there....

Dad jokingly said that they'd come over for a bbq tonight to check out the verandah (even though he was here when he finished it - so he knew what it looked like... ehehe) - and we agreed that it was a good idea to have them over to say thanks for all of their hard work.....

(and when I say full.. it's just because the Elmo house is small! - I think there are 4 little ponies and two "palaces")

Dad and i went outside to see what the verandah looks like at night with people on it... (ie. do we finally have some privacy out there... at least a little).... and it looks really good....  you can still see what's going on up there... but not every person driving past can really see without slowing down to gawk.....

(we're now having to work on a solution...  replace the entire cloth or cover it.....  tough call)

All good now.... .both kids back in bed and asleep by 7:15.... so I'm happy... and all blogged out... so I'm going to head to bed.... (one day I'll start going to bed at a more normal time.....)
