Mom and Dad came over yesterday morning to re-shade the end of the verandah (we luckily had enough shade-cloth left over from the first run)... so we were able to replace the shade rather than try to patch the hole....
and Instead of leaving it free to happen again - we got a new piece of wood and painted it up to sit bethind the BBQ so that the lid can't go any further....
We also got some wood and Dad made a shelf which he fitted to some brackets that have been on the wall since before we bought the place..... (they're still a horrid orange colour atm - but I'll get that changed when I've got spare time)...
Rob and I went to Bunnings yesterday to look at getting a storage box for on the verandah for Jade and Blake to put their toys in - so that we're not always having to transfer from the bedrooms to the verandah and back again...
(Mom and I had already pretty much decided on the one that we bought - but we couldn't fit it in the prado - so needed Rob out there in his Merc...)
While we were at Bunnings we also bought a water tank for the shed... that was delivered this morning and once I've got it set up at the back of the shed I'll get pics....
