Saturday 22nd August
We arrived at soccer and it was spitting.... not enough to completely scare people off... but it was the last soccer for the season and it wasn't too cold... so the kids were pumped...
This game was against the other Meteors team - so the Martians had to wear their club shirts so that we could tell the difference between the teams :)

You can hide inside your shirt.... though, it does cut down on your peripheral vision...
I couldn't decide which of these two I liked better.... so I put them both up!
I'm pretty sure Julian couldn't pull his socks up any further!

For the last minute of the game - they put all of the kids onto the field.... that kept things interesting!
and it's over... and we're drenched!

So, after it was all over... I was drenched.. Blake was drenched.... I found that the umbrella was actually in the car!!! Just typical!
