Saturday 21st April
Michael was holding another boot camp.... I very much love any reason to go to a boot camp... 12+hrs of skating in one weekend, you go home extremely exhausted and having learnt so much... but this boot camp was a bit different.... it came with a dressup roller disco in the middle..... (so, lets add another 4hrs skating to the mix! but in such a fun way)
I spoke with Michael and Ingrid and we decided to do a group effort for our costumes.... so we went with the "Alice in Wonderland" theme.... Ingrid as the Queen of Hearts... Michael as the Mad Hatter... Kristel and I went as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and we got Jen (Snapperazzie) to come as Alice....
Then it was time to make costumes..... but - to tie in a bit of a derby theme with it too.... so the Queen of Hearts had fishnets... and the Tweedles came with Derby Numbers.... :) It was so much fun to prepare for - and even more fun on the night.....
