We got a note from Jade's teacher to say that she was getting another award on assembly... A merit award - we'd been notified by the teacher the day before and organised with work to arrive late so that we could be there....
Jade had no idea she was getting an award, or even that we were there......
The girls Jade is standing next to are both Grade 3....
and Kholeen next to Jade in this pic - is another Grade 1 kid (she was in Prep with Jade last year)
Note: Every kid held their certificate forward.... except for Jade.... who spent her entire time up the front reading her award.... it was very cute.... not sure if she just didn't believe what they'd read out... or maybe she wasn't paying attention....
