Christmas Day 2015

Thursday 25th December

Christmas day is here... and for once, Jade was the first one up... usually it's Blake that we're saying "don't wake Jade... let her sleep"

She put on her musical dancing Santa Hat - and quietly opened her stocking.....

Then Blake got up....  Dancing Musical Christmas Tree hat for him :)

The morning was going along quite nicely..... Blake had gone downstairs to play on his computer and we thought nothing of it... then later he came over to sit with me... and quietly said that Santa hadn't got him the only thing he asked for.... 

Worst parent award goes to me!  One thing, and I had forgotten it....

He wanted Hyrule Warriors for the WiiU...

Luckily Rob's right up on how to make these things happen... and with the WiiU you can download games.... so Rob got that happening - and I got busy doing a letter for Blake to hide in the tree and pretend that he just had missed it when we were doing presents earlier.....

Much happier with Santa now!

Christmas is all about Family Games :)

The kids got some electronic games that threw pieces - this one threw a rabbit and you had to catch it to win....

Honey wasn't interested in playing games.....

This one, you had to not wake the dog while stealing it's bones......

Blake continued to play his game.....

This game was awesome... it's called Suspend - and you have to do just that.... suspend these various coloured rods and not knock anything off.... anything that falls becomes your piece - and the winner is the first person to use all of their pieces... 

(there's a bit more to it than that... but... that's the general idea)
