Blake's getting a bit taller... and although the 16" Oset still suits him for now - it wont be long before he'll need a bigger bike... and with Jade and her aversion to loud noises - we wanted to get this bike for Blake and to try to get Jade on it to see if it would suit her.... if it did - then we would have got her the next model up from this one (whilst still the same size - it has a larger back tyre and a stronger swing arm - it can be ridden til they're much bigger..... though, this bike is aimed at 8yrs to 12yrs... and by the time the kids are 12 - I imagine they'll be on full sized trials bikes....if they're still wanting to ride....)
This had arrived on Friday, but we had so much else on over the weekend - we had to wait til the kids were at school on Monday to put it together.... (Monday is still my happy non-worky day)
This one has three options for playing with the power and speed of the bike... the old 16" just had a controller to control the speed and that was all... this now has controls so that you can alter the bike to suit the child - and very easy to access.....
On the grip - there's a battery power meter - so you can see if the battery is going flat... though we got batteries for it that are supposed to last 8-9hrs of straight riding time... so hopefully we should be ok.....

I then picked the kids up from school and we headed off to swimming lessons....
When we got home from swimming - we showed the bike to the kids... they were very impressed....
Blake went straight upstairs to get into jeans, t-shirt and his bike boots so that he could go for a test ride....
