Property search......

So, the search for a property has started again.....   we want a large piece of land that is useful for pretty much nothing.... we're looking for rocks and hills and logs etc..... and the worse the property is (well the more of this stuff it has - and the less open spaces that are capable of running cattle) - the cheaper the block usually is.....

This first property we looked at was just outside Gin Gin... (well, we thought it was JUST outside Gin Gin... but it took us over 30mins FROM Gin Gin to get there.... )  So, that makes it a 2.5hr trip from home for a weekend bike property.... 

It was 67 Acres.... and dirt cheap....   it had roads pushed into it.... it was at least accessible... BUT... there was not a scrap of telephone coverage .... still.... it was cheap....

and there WERE rocks!

and it had a Humpy......

and Satellite Internet (though, how useful it was we have no idea....)

but it had a massive mountain of rocks.....

and a Futon... (though - I'm not sure how comfortable it was)

It did have a telephone line... .again, no idea about whether it actually worked....

So, if this property had just been 1.5hrs closer to town - it would have been perfect... we could have worked around the lack of mobile reception.....  but... it wasn't completely off the table.....
