Sunday 13th July
Our Club trial - and my first trial back since November last year.... (and it showed! - mind you, I'm using the excuse of riding my twinshock as my alternate excuse!).
Blake rode some sections that Dad set for him - with a bit more of a challenge than previous trials - he's getting so good.... and being the only kid in Intro-Mini - he won! which he was still very excited about!
Lisa wasn't flashing Rob (who was in control of the camera for the day) - she was hiding Frank from photos to avoid the "caught with your pants down" phrase that would have ultimately stuck til the end of the year!
Bikes out ready to go.... Frank and I were both riding 348's as our bikes are both in need of repairs.....
Tony Bax warming up....
A shot of section 7
Blake's ready and raring!
Blake and I were playing follow the leader....
Andrew warming up...
The concentration on his face always amazes me....
Jade found the see-saw (designed for the motorbikes - but that wouldn't stop her!)
Bikes through scrutineering - now to just wait for the riders briefing
So cool calm and collected....
Drew rocked up... (almost) just in time!
Riders briefing time....
even the littlies have to pay attention for this....
Brent pointing out where the sections are hidden in the bush.... (and believe me.. some of them were well hidden!)
Section 7 was a tricky one.... it was the only section I didn't clean all day....
Drew doing the C Grade line....
Peter Casey - Section 3
Tony Bax
Andrew McDonald
Sarah Chivers
Sarah
Brent Chivers
(argh! I'm not sure of this guys name - his family came down from Moranbah)
Greg Paton - Section 3 still....
Me trying not to get stuck on the root in section 3
Dave McDonald - Section 7
Sarah Chivers - Section 7
Oh yeah, this kid has guts and skills!
Frank making Section 7 look easy... (it wasn't easy!)
Section 7 caused me bumps, bruises, scratches and even some cuts....
This is John - Dad met him in Gin Gin - I believe he's from Bundaberg..... after this trial (where he borrowed a TY175 from someone) - he went home and bought himself a trials bike... so he'll be back - he had a great time riding around with Dad for the day.....
