Superbikes 2012 - Day 2

Thursday 23rd February

We got up to a nice warm day on the Island...  generally it's nice and cold and wet and rainy down here - but apparently this year it's all different and will be warm all weekend...  which - in a way is good - it means that Rob wont be rained out at the track....

Spent the morning with the kids down on the beach with the soccer ball - which was quickly forgotten when the kids worked out that the water wasn't "TOO" cold....  mind you - it only got to about 1ft deep.... and it was cold from my point of view - but I'm a sissy like that....   Rob had sites down, so he was busy stuck in the cabin on his laptop...  but the rest of us had fun...

Oh, and THIS is about how big the waves got....  I think they got to about 2" tall!

I think the hat may just be a tad too big.....

Blake loved running and making splashes.... especially when he was splashing those that weren't wanting to be splashed... apparently evil has set in and he likes it!

And now.... to scare them!

and more splashing!  up in the air this time.....  make it rain!

It was then time to get back to the cabin, have some lunch and get Blake down for his sleep.....  

Rob gave Jade some My Little Pony figurines that he found her online - so she spent the afternoon playing with those quietly while Blake slept.....

Happiness is being a Jade :)

That night, Rob and I headed to Carrum to pick up Rob's new sidecar (GSX1000G with a double seater side car.... so we can take both kids out for road rides.....)

This was taken after we'd picked it up - I was going to get a pic of Rob and Marty with the bike .... but Rob was too eager to leave and get riding....

We got back to the cabin about 9:30pm.... the kids were asleep and we pretty much hit the sack as soon as we got back too.....
