Wednesday 19th January
We decided to foster an RSPCA pup, firstly to test the waters, secondly to help out..... This is Sissy.... she's gorgeous, if I had more spare time, this would have really worked... (she's being picked up today - 28th January - she's destroyed a few toys, as well as garden lights - not that I was overly bothered by that, the constant whining all night meant that I haven't slept the last 4 nights... she's been with dogs the rest of the time she's been fostered and she seems to really need the constant companionship... I can't be making a puppy sad, she's not had a good start to life - I'm not going to make it worse for her... in a few years we may try again....)
Jade loves having someone she didn't have to convince to run in the back yard
Blake (mostly) enjoyed running around with Sissy....
Unfortunately because she's pretty much the same size as Blake (she's 2kgs lighter) - she manages to bowl him over a fair bit, then he starts to avoid her...
Ice Block time, and Sissy was there to try to catch any drips!
Blake loved showing Sissy how to dig, then Sissy showed Blake, now Blake digs like a puppy!
Bath time, Sissy really clung to Jade - so wherever Jade was, there was Sissy!
The kids really wore Sissy out on Day 1
