Saturday 16th July....
After Jade's soccer game on Saturday - we loaded the kids into the already packed car and caravan and headed out to Upper Scrubby Creek for a weekend of camping and trials riding..... This was my first chance to get on a trials bike all year - and it was short but great.....
Blake is all about going through the water on the bike and over logs....
Jade went for a ride with Rob - and he got stuck in the mud - and so Jade came back with muddy shoes.... but she was quite happy... (especially as she's scored a new helmet..... apparently having long hair means my head is a touch bigger.... so the helmet that I bought last year doesn't fit anymore... and I wore it probably twice....)
Blake stands up whenever he's on the bike if you're standing... which is fantastic.... and he's got his balance sorted....
Jade loved the helmet so much we couldn't get it off her....

My cute little grot.... my kids always come home covered in dirt from camping weekends... happy and dirty....
Blake wasn't very happy about having his pic taken..... well, he just wasn't very happy full stop at this point - he hadn't slept all day and he was overtired... so he went to bed soon after this...

Sunday 17th July....
Trials day....
Mr Motel didn't camp - but made sure he made it out in the morning in time to have breakfast and pretend that he'd been camping :)
(oh, and note the new car...... no more WRX)
Dad came off his bike and has hurt his finger... we're not sure if he just dislocated it or if he broke it....

Rob got on the bike for the first time all year.... and rode 2 laps before he came off and hurt his arm....
