Friday 9th October
Rob usually takes Honey for her walk.... today it was our turn (with Rob in the states).
How hard can this be? go to the fenced dog park and let her off the leash....
So far so good! Nailing it!
Next Minute!
Honey has gone down the steep bank and got herself into the water and gone for a swim.....
This wouldn't be an issue if the other side of the bank was still fenced... but no, she was now outside the dog park... and I've now got two kids freaking about her being in the water and then getting out on to the road..... next thing I know, Blake's about to start climbing down the bank...
Luckily, once she got out of the water, she came back to us.... but this was the last walk we took her on while Rob was away.... when you have a dog that won't come when you call her and won't even acknowledge you... it's just not going to happen....
She did look very pleased with herself!
Not so pleased once her leash was put back on again! :)
