Friday 16th October
I got a panicked call from the school... Blake had been to swimming lessons that morning with them.. and had been pain-crying non-stop since he got back... they couldn't calm him down and they couldn't stop his ear hurting.....
I phoned the Doctor as soon as I picked him up at school to get him in as soon as possible...
His ear had closed up from an infection so we were given antibiotics.... and told that if got worse to take him straight to the hospital....
This then cancelled our plans for the weekend where we were going to Turkey Beach to ride trials... It wasn't worth risking being over an hour away from home if it got worse..... (though, a chill weekend at home was a good idea too!)
