Grandma comes to visit!!!!

Friday 19th September

We took the kids to the airport - we had managed to keep it all a secret that Grandma was coming to visit.... but we had to tell them before we went to the airport because they both went "nah - we don't want to go to the airport" ... then we asked them if we could fly anywhere, where would they want to go - and they both said "Sydney to visit Grandma" - so luckily this was the next best option :)

They were both excited to go and meet up with Grandma.....

and she's here!!!

Jade gets extra reading time at night after we put Blake to bed.... and she usually has 1,2 or 3 cats in there with her.......

Jordy is our smoochiest cat!

Jordy also isn't fussy about where he hangs out....  even this plastic tub is good enough for him :)

Saturday 20th September....

We headed to Petbarn to get more cat food and kitty litter supplies.... and while we were there - we found this awesome cat scratching post/house thingy.....  the cats have completely destroyed the one out on the verandah - and it's definitely better than them scratching the kids beds to bits....

Jordy was impressed.....

and I believe this is the only time we've managed to get a cat INSIDE these (which I thought were going to be the best part of it... I was wrong!)

Here is the best position for a kitty... and if you aren't careful - they can bop you from up here.... THAT's the best game ever for a kitty!

Sunday 21st September...

We took Angela down to Rosedale so that we could show her the property we'd bought.....  when we arrived we decided to do lunch first.....  at the Tiny Tea House... (love this place - and we make sure to drop in everytime we're in town... even if it's just for a coffee on our way home) 

The kids love the gardens....

  

Blake was having a sad.... I'm not sure what about.. 

But Jade thought it was pretty funny....

After we'd eaten, we headed to the playground.....

Then out to the property.....

We took Angela for a walk up to the creek....

There was still a huge puddle of water 

our Turkey came to say hi too :)
