Saturday 31st August
After Soccer, we loaded the kids into the car and headed for Bundaberg... we had to be home on Father's Day as Drew had arranged to come down and help me paint Jade's room and get that finished for her... So, we went with the theory that Dad is getting old and wouldn't know what day it was (just kidding!!!!! really really Dad, I'm just kidding! we knew that you'd work it out... sooner or later! ;) )
Oooh - it looks like he's going to get to open his own presents.....
or maybe not....

So, the boys spent the day putting this together....

It's completely plastic and it runs on batteries, but other than that... totally a V8!
(I dunno, I don't get it... but the boys were excited about it!)
This at least shows a bit of what it was like... it was really hard to film the bits moving....

We left after dinner and got home and got kids sorted for bed around 9:30pm... so it was an extremely long day... but it was a good day :)

Ah, at last I can see what one of these 'engines' looks like in the flesh (as it were). Thinking of getting one for one of the kids...
