Wednesday 25th April
We took the kids to the beach for the morning.... Mom and Dad came out there too... we had a great time... and it was surprisingly not too cold to get in the water....
Mom started to help Jade to dig a hole....
Blake decided to dig his own...
Jade's filled with water..... and then it was gone...
Dad watched from way up on the top of the dunes .... apparently he melts if he gets wet... like the Wicked Witch....
And Rob came down to help the kids dig....
Mom and Dad started a new and improved hole..... further up the beach...
Blake went looking for sea cucumbers....
Rob kept helping the kids dig the hole....
and then there was a barrier to protect it from the waves...
Yup.... big enough to hide a Puggle...
Not big enough to hide Jade... :)
The water goes all the way around and is not destroyed....
I don't think Blake has ever seen a wave that big.... it made him RUN straight up the beach....
Jade happily played at the edge of the water....
apparently a hole in the beach is good for just chillin' in...
and nearly disappearing....
Jade sat in there for a while just looking out to sea...
then Blake had to get in on the action...
Before we left - everyone helped to kick in the hole so that no one fell into it....
and then it was gone....
