Saturday 31st January
We headed to the property for another weekend of clearing and power sorting..... (well, Rob's in charge of power on the property) - Drew and I got into the creek and cleared more of it for riding......
There had been a lot of rain (huzzah cyclone season) - along with rain comes a running creek as well as run off on the road..... which can make the drive into the property slightly unpleasant....
We're going to have pipe work put in under this patch of road to get the water flowing under, rather than over... but, until then.... we'll patch as we go.....
Drew and I headed down and filled the area with large rocks, then smaller rocks until we got to the point of just filling in with dirt to completely fill the gap... it wasn't a perfect solution... but it sorted us for a couple of months....
After doing this, we headed down into the creek below where the shed is .... the water was flowing nicely through the creek..... Drew decided to put a stop to this.... or, more importantly.... build a swimming pool by building a dam.....
Blake enjoyed playing in the water while we got busy trying to stop the water flowing through......

After a hard day... it was time to stop for a drink!
