Sunday 3rd November
There's something magical about waking up in the middle of the bush to a pile of presents... it's different to usual... Though, I think this is probably something Blake will get used to over the years as he will have a 4/7 chance of his birthday being on one of the Conondale Days.....
Thumpback!
Blake had been asking for Thumpback for what seemed like forever.... we'd got it ages ago for Mom and Dad to give him, and it was killing us whenever he'd ask for it.... we just had to wish and hope and pray that no stores had it in stock... which, luckily... they didn't!
(especially when Jade was spending her birthday money!)

I came off the bike a few times.... Rob tried to see how bendy his knee and shin were by mashing it between a rock and his bike (end result... not very bendy... and a lot ouchy....)
At the end of the trial, we went riding around... just around the paddocks etc.... Blake had a great day....
(Nearly forgot to add my lap cards.... each lap I dropped less points... and that's really the aim of the game....so I'm happy with how the day went!)
(and in case anyone is wondering, Jade didn't want to ride - so she happily played with Hunter all day and kept herself amused.....no point pushing it....)
Then it was time for another swim......
and apparently a little chilly!
I clearly don't feed this kid enough... look at those ribs!
and a little dirty..... you'd think we'd kept him away from water all weekend!
I think by this stage he was numb, so the water didn't phase him any longer....

Warming up again.... not often these kids are allowed to swim without rashies on....
We had a blast at Conondale.... As we always do :)
