Friday 4th October to Monday 7th October
We got in the car at 6am to get going.... Rob and I drove to Benaraby where I got out and joined Kristel in her car for the rest of the drive (Rob listens to Audio books - so conversation with Zerky was way more interesting!)
We decided to pull out the Tweedle shirts for the trip! :)
So we're off!
Had to stop in Gin Gin to play .... :)
Back on the road... and road works.... Grrr...
Stopped in at Gympie to see Aunty Lyn
Then we were down at Caloundra... and it was time to go and waste time at the shopping centre.....

Saturday 5th October...
Down at the venue - we were making sure we had our place sorted at the track....

First Bout - Hustlers -vs- The Bay Rollers - we won by all of 6 points...... it was very touch and go for the entire bout - it was an amazing bout against an amazing team!

Sunday 6th October....
Bout 2 - We came up against NBR which were the states #2 team last year - so we weren't expecting miracles.... and we didn't get one... we had our butts handed to us... but we made them work for it :)
After our final bout - HeBe came in to meet with me so that we could go to lunch....

Monday 7th
Zerky and I decided that rather than hanging around for the first game - we would leave early and head home.... we got up and left at 5am... that way we could get home and relieve the baby sitters.... Slay'er came back with us as she had uni work and work-work to get home to too.....

We found Voodoo at one of the servo's that we stopped at..... and we dicussed stopping by the massive dead cow that we'd seen on the way down... this thing was HUGE...
Voodoo gave us the heads up that she'd found it and we all stopped to have a look... not sure how we were surprised at how stinky it was....
It had deflated over the weekend.... poor cow...
So, all of this happened, and then Voodoo realised that she'd locked her keys in her car... AND her car was running... so then we started to freak..... how were we going to get in there??? we emptied her boot in hope that we could push the seats forward... unfortunately Voodoo had all of the team merch in her back seat - so we weren't able to move them.....
To kill time, Voodoo decided to go for a skate....

Not as smooth as our normal surfaces....
Luckily Voodoo had an esky full of drinks....
We phoned Cass - we knew that they were on their way home - as they had to get back to kids as well..... Cass and her hubby Rob and Busty.....
Cass's hubby is a bit smart and realised that if he could open the door enough to get a wire in - he could push the window open button and voilah!
While we were all standing around and waiting - this man came up... he was walking around australia to raise awareness for cancer and to lose weight......
His dog was such a happy thing.... and had the cutest boots on.......
And we're in!
Voodoo was beating us home!
And we're home!!!!!
SheBe was glad that I was home... and she watched the derby finals with me!
