Friday 17th August
We left Gladstone around 2pm and headed down.... after we got through all of the roadworks between Gladstone and Gin Gin - things started travelling a lot smoother...
I love sleeping kids in the car..... we got in around 10pm.... (Michael and Ingrid opened up our unit and had everything ready so that we could just put the kids straight to bed....)

After breakfast with Michael and Ingrid - we went shopping with the kids and then headed back to the hotel.... for some reason the kids thought that it was swimming weather.... (I, on the other hand, did not....) So, Rob took the kids down onto the beach and I stayed rugged up at the unit....

Sunday morning we got up and went to breakfast with Michael's family (some of his kids as well as some of his siblings and his mother) and once we were done, it was time for Michael and I to go for a beach skate with some of the Tweed Valley girls....

We went to watch Tweed Train.... I was supposed to skate with them, but I was feeling really ill - so just went to watch... and gave Monie Bones a Tank Top for being the MVP of the bout against GRD from the week before....
Monday Morning.... we got up - got packed and got ready go get going... then I noticed that Rob had Einstein hair... so I just had to get a pic....
On our way home, we stopped into Bundaberg to see Mom and Dad's new house
(they'd started moving on this day too - as soon as settlement was confirmed....)
Not long after leaving Bundaberg - Blake was out for the count and slept the entire way home....
We had a great weekend.... but straight back to work the day following day - and Rob helped Mom and Dad over the next few days to help them move all of their stuff to Bundy......
