Tuesday 17th May
The new trampoline pads and net arrived, we got Mom and Dad to come up and help us change them over, cause we had no idea how painful this process was going to be... we weren't sure if we were going to have to take all of the poles off the trampoline and feed the net on and then re-attach... we were quite worried about how much work was involved.... and in the end... it was quite quick and painless.....
The Construction Crew...
(well, I helped too - but someone had to take the pic!)
Happy bouncy children....
The kids haven't played on the trampoline much lately, and I believe it's due to the fact that Jade was paranoid about falling off the trampoline as she was the one who made the first hole in the net... she was bouncing and fell through the net.... (and no, it's not like they were using the net as an additional bouncing area.... but it was there for safety - which it was no longer providing....) Given the trampoline is so large - it's also really high off the ground - and it's over a "granite composite" gravel stuff..... so it wasn't a nice landing for her... she came out claiming she'd broken her arm - so of course, I started freaking... but she was fine....
Hopefully, they'll spend more time out there now that it's no longer raining on a daily basis - it's not too hot - the sandflies have disappeared.... the backyard is the place to be now!!! (I hope!)
