Stairs - 90% complete.....

Ignore the mess at the bottom of the stairs, that was cleared out on Saturday (in time for Greg to mow... yes, that's right!! Greg mowed the lawns... for the first time in his life and he came back saying "I don't know why people whinge about mowing - it's not that hard!" - I guess he's just opted to take over mowing!! eheh)

Anyway, I've still got to contact Terry to arrange to have him come and paint them, but that may be a little while away as getting the stairs done has left us without available funds, it was a necessary expense though - it's amazing how many people come up these stairs instead of just coming in the front door!

The positive side is now that Jade can go down the stairs to play in the yard if she wants - rather than us having to walk down the internal stairs and through the maze of Rob's computer junk and Greg's junk to get to the back door...

When they were first completed, Jade stood two stairs down and was pulling on the railing going "Look Mommy!! it's safe now!!!"... because we'd told her she wasn't allowed out the kitchen door because the stairs weren't safe...
