More Exciting Mail!

Blake was very excited to receive his Trophy in the mail from the TY Challenge Trial that he'd gone to with Gran and Grandpa... he got 2nd place in Mini-Bike :)

Care package arrived in the mail......  Liv spoilt me :)  (though, Jade stole the shaker as soon as she saw it....)

So, our weekend down in Bundaberg was to spend GG's last weekend at home with her before she went into the Nursing Home.....

This home is so nice... it doesn't seem like any ordinary nursing home... there is no typical smell....

In search of Roller Shoes....

Saturday 30th July

Saturday morning, Frank came shopping with us to get Jade a new pair of Roller Shoes.... (not so easy to find for a size 6 footed kid.....)

Spoilt by Uncle Frank....

(he saw Pokemon figurines and bought them for the kids - they were stoked)

We changed the laces in the shoes we did find...  The only ones we could find were "technically" boy shoes.... and...for a girly girl (where did I go wrong?!?!) - it had to have some girl-colour in it.... so, we just bought laces.. and BAM....  

Then we stopped in at Gloria Jeans for some coffee, I introduced Frank to the Voltage Mmmm coffee!!!........ (and shakes for the kids)

When Blake was 2 months old I took this photo... actually, I took a much bigger photo where you can see Gran and Blake... But, this is what I took from it and I've loved it ever since.....

Now, before Blake's hand gets too much bigger, it's time to recreate it and set it in stone.. (well, plaster)

  

We ended up doing it twice, just in case there was any issue with one of them...

There are a few flaws in them.. but I love that too... in life, nothing is 100% perfect...

Friday Night Soccer and the trip to Bundy

Before we could get going to Bundaberg - we had to get to Jade's soccer game.....

It was a little cold down at the soccer fields....

Blake didn't make it to Bundy before going to sleep.....

Someone's a little pooped after her game and a long trip.....

Still sleeping.... and I'm trying to drag him out of the car.....
