Roller Disco - 16th September....

Friday 16th September the PCYC held another Roller Disco....

Each time we've had these, Jade has pretty much clung to me during the night to get her skating... but this time - she had Taylah to keep her skating... and skate they did.... Jade stopped skating for about 5 minutes to have a drink and that was about it... it was a great night...

This time I didn't help the PCYC with the disco - as it was more important to be available for Jade....

We had a great night.... so when it was suggested that Jade do "learn to skate" classes - she jumped at the opportunity.... it's important to have her learn to skate properly.... It's all happening up in the world of the Thomas'

Skating on the Driveway....

Tuesday 13th September

I decided to get Xander over so that I could hopefully get Jade interested in skating and get her onto the Quads before the upcoming roller disco.... of course, she wasn't interested.....

Blake put his skates on - and skated around for all of about 2minutes....

Xander ended up having a good time and really got some speed up on the driveway....

Scrubby Creek Trial - 11th September

Sunday 11th September

Jade's second trials event... this time she had a competitor.... Abby is 8 and she's been riding for over a year now... so she knows what the deal is - and she knows how to deal with bumps....Jade on the other hand, hasn't....

Second section - this was a very bumpy entrance (mainly caused by the cows walking through mud - and then it all hardening...)

After Jade's fall - she wouldn't ride the two trickier sections without me walking through with her - so no pics.... but she gave up after two laps... it was just too much and she was too paranoid of hurting herself....
