Back to the Botanic Gardens.....

Wednesday 1st August

After the school run, Ingrid and I headed back to the Botanic Gardens.... this time we headed to the Japanese Tea Gardens..... this is such a lovely section there...... nice and green...

Tuesday 31st July....

Ingrid and I picked Jade up from school, then Blake... then we headed out to the Botanic Gardens.... This was a chance for Ingrid to learn how to use the manual focus on her new camera... which made me want to try the manual focus on mine... (I've always been a very happy-happy snapper... and never cared too much about TRYING to get perfect pics.....  not that I care now - but playing with the manual focus was interesting - it also meant that you didn't need to use the flash much.... which was good)

Jade goes through phases about enjoying the camera..... when she's willing to pose - I'm willing to take the pics....

Blake hangs out with Ingrid - cause she's his #1 person....

Rob's mother came up from Sydney for the weekend to visit to be here for Rob's birthday...

We had a nice simple BBQ and cake night....  trying to convince the kids to go to sleep at a reasonable hour on a school night is interesting though........
